Spirit is what we call imagination, possibility, and thought. It is unlimited, and exists without us, and outside of the universe. There are no boundaries of space or time.Imagination, possibility, and thought aren't bound to the physical world. Imagination is real, so everything we imagine is real, including deities, fantasies, and dreams. This is different from the actual physical world, which we put some skeptical credence in. We're made of matter, and what we think, do, and feel is the result of what our atoms and molecules do. What they do is conjure and host our individual spirits from the world of spirit. Our spirits are illusion. They seem to be singular living things but in fact our spirits are systems, collections of particles of thought, not units, and the systems don't end at our edges. The spirits of everyone on the planet are in fact, not in wishful thought, connected, interacting parts of a larger spirit. Nothing matters, actually. Life is illusion. You are illusion. The trouble you have with these thoughts, and the trouble you have with death, are because you have been built to be troubled by them. But the truth is just what it is, and the planet keeps turning, and all we can do is create art with our lives, and pretend it means something. Many people believe existence to be a riddle, but actually it's a joke. Interrobang?! |
